has developed a qualification process used to evaluate facilities
in the Sacramento area for quality care. Each residence
must be state licensed and is carefully inspected by one of
our consultants. A care residence must meet all of our
quality standards before we refer clients to it. In
our northern California service area discharge planners, social
workers, physicians, hospitals, nursing homes and home care
professionals are aware of our expertise and frequently refer
families to us for assistance.
Consultation With Seniors And Caregivers

interviews family members and personally evaluates each senior
client. We match an elder's care and social needs, location
preference and family budget with an appropriate facility
in our computer data base. All personal information
provided to us by clients via e-mail, telephone or correspondence
is held in strictest confidence. It is provided only to assisted
care facilities for evaluation purposes and is not shared
with other third parties. We require that all assisted
living facilities keep client information confidential. We
provide each family with a list of residences to visit based
on our facility matching criteria and other factors.
Families are given a list of questions to ask facility staff
and a checklist of key items to observe during a tour.
